This family friendly event will have your team exploring the zoo to solve fun clues! Parking and admission to the zoo are included. Read for Literacy’s Amazing Race Photo Scavenger Hunt will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Toledo Zoo. We invite you to join us for this special event This family friendly event will have your team exploring the zoo to solve fun clues! Parking and admission to the zoo are included. We are working hard to ensure everyone’s safety, so this year will look a little different. Below are the procedures we have put in place: 1. We will be stagger starting the teams. This will allow us to avoid a gathering of people at the beginning of the event. Each team will be given a start time. You will have 1 ½ hours from your start time to complete the Race. 2. Staggered start times will mean staggered end times. There will be no gathering at the end of the race. Instead you will check back in and pick up your box lunch that you are free to eat in the Zoo or take home with you. 3. We will announce the winners on a Facebook live broadcast. 4. We are working on a way for teams to upload their photos as they are taken. This will avoid having to turn in a phone or other device.
