In June of 2020, a little black weiner dog mix came into my yard. She was not chipped and had actually been picked up by animal control at one point (I later found out) but ended up running off and ended up in my yard. We have had her since then. She is very sweet and has been around my two dogs and cats since arriving here. When she first got here she was scared and showed signs of it by showing her teeth to the other dogs but that only lasted a day. She loves to snuggle and sleep with you at night. She looks like she has had several litters of pups at one point in time 🥺 and we are guessing her age to be around 6yo. She has been around kids of all ages including my two (ages 13 and 9) and has no problem with them. She loves to be held as well❤️. The reason we have to find her a new home is because we do not have a fenced in yard and if the weather is nice, she likes to run off. Unfortunately, our neighbor does not approve. She goes to his home and messes in his yard, gets his dog to start barking, and goes into his barn and stirs up his donkeys (we live in the country). Not to mention I am so afraid she will get hit. His next step is calling animal control. She needs a good loving home with a fence so she can be outside without running off. The fence needs to be at least 6ft tall because she is a jumper and 4ft is nothing to her. She will NOT go on a leash. She stands as still as a statue. I am unsure of her past and what all she has been through but I'm sure it may be part of the reason for the way she acts. She will make a great family dog or single person dog.Oh, and she loves to go on car rides (windows up because she will jump out). Her name is June (that's when she wondered into our yard) and she knows her name. She is free to anyone willing to give her a great home but you MUST HAVE A FENCE, COME HERE TO PICK HER UP (I WILL NOT MEET), AND TEXT ONLY...NO EMAILS OR CALLS!!!
