In 2020 when COVID19 locked us down the job market dropped 38% and millions of Americans lost their jobs. The job market is changing as remote work is adopted by companies and employers use layoffs during the pandemic as an opportunity to streamline their operations to require fewer people. Students in high school and college need to know what employers are looking for as they invest time and money into their education. Having the right skills and education helps high school / college students land internships while still in school, and eventually line up full time positions after graduation.
