Our roots-rock - blues band has a summer schedule [June thru September] of (mostly) weekday early eve outdoor community concert gigs, mostly in locations around the eastern half of MA. We also play shows throughout the year: pubs, libraries, special events. We've been playing gigs together since 1999. We need a percussionist who can play a wide variety of blues, swing and rock & roll rhythms, but who can also handle other grooves, such as: soca, mambo, tejano, calypso, New Orleans 2nd line patterns, reggae, 6/8 ballad-style & some original groove patterns here and there. Not loud. Some back-up singing duties apply. You would have to be available for all / almost all of our shows. These are paying gigs, and we want to maintain our rep as good musicians, so serious only, please. Please provide audio / video clips with reply, plus a brief musical RESUME. Age is not important to us, but experience and availability are VERY important. You must have reliable transportation.
