A great way to learn blacksmithing! Blacksmith Fundamentals is a clinic that teaches the basic techniques for a beginner blacksmith. In this class, you will learn about safety, hammering styles and when to beat the metal. Under the direction of a trained blacksmith, you will be making your own project piece. All safety equipment and tools will be provided for the clinic. Intermediate classes are scheduled for March 13th 1-4; April 17th 1p-4p; May 8th 1p-4p and June 12th 1p-4p. Fee is $75 per person. $100 for ages 14 and under if accompanied by an adult who will also be participating. A $15 registration fee is required. Cancel 48 hours in advance for a full refund.
