For just $10 per person, the club will provide light appetizers, access to 2 golf simulators, an indoor driving range, and a game room. With Spring upon us, our next social event involves getting ready for golf season! Have you ever wanted to swing a golf club or like to play golf, but are not very good at it? Ever wanted to play golf on a premier golf course or just want to socialize with fellow Purdue alums? We will be having our next social event at The Golf House located on the second floor of the Parkview Sport One Fieldhouse. For just $10 per person, the club will provide light appetizers, access to 2 golf simulators, an indoor driving range, a game room, and a conference room (drinks, including beer, are available for purchase and there is a snack bar downstairs as well). The simulators can be setup to play one of 84 professional golf courses or setup for various carnival-like games for accuracy contests. The event will be on Friday, April 16th from 6pm – 8pm (possibly longer). They have golf clubs available for use at no cost, so there is no need to bring your own! The Golf House is accessible either by elevator or stairs inside the Parkview Sport One Fieldhouse (3946 Ice Way, just off Lima Rd across from Glenbrook Commons). This will be an excellent way to get your swing in shape for this summer’s Scholarship Golf Outing! At this price, we expect this event to sell out quickly, so please purchase your tickets soon on Eventbrite so that we know if we need to reserve additional time (they are open until 10pm).
