Full-Time Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver with lots of room for advancement American Shredding is one of the largest and fastest growing document shredding and product destruction companies in the nation and we are seeking a dependable warehouse associate with forklift skills to join our team in brand new warehouse in East Mesa. We hire drivers from within as much as possible and if you would like to become a Route Driver and we can train you if you have the basic skills we are looking for. Warehouse work consists of handling our warehouse shredding machines to process paper shredding, hard drive shredding and various product destruction projects. Also need to be familiar with unloading palletized cargo from trucks and keeping warehouse neat and orderly. Brand new state of the art warehouse in East Mesa Falcon Airport area. Warehouse work is necessary but there is room to grow if you aspire to be a driver and we actively need a backup driver right now if you have at least a Class B CDL we can discuss during interview.......we are busy and growing quickly! When not in warehouse other duties would be to help our drivers on big jobs where they need a helper to run the truck or shuttle bins of paper from the customers office to the shredding truck. Light maintenance on trucks such as cleaning out loose paper or greasing the equipment typically weekly. Hours: Monday-Friday, and usually 7-3:30 or 7:30am-4:00pm with OT potential. Qualifications: • Must have valid Arziona issued driver's license (CDL not required but willing to pay more if you do have one) • Must have clean driving record (past 3 years) • Must pass background check • Must pass drug test • Must be capable of lifting 50 to 100 pounds from floor unassisted often as well as walk with wheeled bins or carts of paper that weigh 200 to 300 pounds • Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the United States • Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English • Fork lift experience is not necessary but it is a plus • Ability to work in a team and stand-alone environment • Able to work in a fast-moving environment • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously with interruptions • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, as there is room for advancement • Must have reliable transportation and be on time to work each day Other duties include but are not limited to: • Load and unload 26 foot box truck with boxes of paper and other items as needed • Stock drivers trucks with equipment for daily jobs • Assist with general warehouse labor tasks • Communicate with co-workers and customers daily • Other projects and duties assigned Pay range is $15-18 DOE for warehouse associate and $17 plus for warehouse with a current CDL license that will be working in a PT driving capacity. Plenty of OT is available as well as tips in driving positions. Looking to hire quickly and need someone that can start within 1-2 weeks.
