Hello, We will be holding auditions for a new female country artist who will be launching a new release mid summer. The artist is a female country singer/songwriter who's style is a bit less pop country (although a couple tunes go there) combined with true and heart felt originals that skate a swampy version of Alison Krauss that rocks. Her vocals are a combination blend of Stevie Nicks and Miley Cyrus. The songs and music will have extended jams so only high level musicians apply. No attitudes. No substance abuse problems. Promptness to rehearsals and shows is an absolute. This will be a fun band, and it is important to keep it that way. Also, if you can play like mad, and have a great and professional attitude then age, race, sex doesn't matter. This is a REAL bands band. Auditions for: Guitar-electric/acoustic/finger style, flat picking, slide, Guitar/Mandolin Keyboards Female background singer. Instruments such as Guitar, mandolin, keyboards and or banjo a major plus Drums (Possibly covered) Bass (Partially covered. this will be a rotational position at first then moves into a permanent position) Rehearsals will be twice a week on weekday evenings at a fully equipped and back-lined rehearsal space in Moraga. Please only submit to audition if you can commit to tour as well as play local spot dates. Local spot dates are pay per gig. Tour will be salaried. Thanks!
