Join us at our 2nd annual blood drive, raffle, and family fun day in memory of Naperville mom, Kimberley Benedyk Sandford. Please join us at our Second Annual "A Pint for Kim" Blood Drive as we carry on Kim's mission of transforming her experiences into this life-saving movement! This year's event is at a new venue that is allowing us to make it even bigger! (And it's why our theme this year is "On Angels' Wings"!!) Thanks to J.A. Air Center, the May 8 blood drive will be at Aurora Airport. Blood donations will be taken safely social distanced inside an airplane hanger, and all other events will take place outside (and covered). Like last year, every person who donates blood will receive ten tickets to "bid" on the tens of thousands of dollars worth of donated raffle items! New this year, each blood donor will get two food tickets to use at the numerous food trucks that are going to be parked at the event! Also new this year is the ability to participate in the team challenge (see the flyer we posted for more details). The team to donate the most blood will receive a pizza party from Little Pops Pizzeria! And all teams will be entered into other special raffles in addition to each member getting individual raffle tickets. And there is so much more!!!! The Hamilton Collection will have ALL of their cars on display which feature: some McLarens (including a Senna), a Ferrari, a few Lamborghinis, Audi R8, Corvettes, Ford GT, and numerous other super cars. Oh yeah, and a Bugatti Chiron!! You also will be able to check out some pretty impressive private jets! And there will be live music throughout the day!!!! Blood donations are from 8am-4pm, but the music and food trucks will continue until 7pm. A full schedule of events will be posted closer to the day. We will start announcing raffle items soon, too! Finally, as a reminder, unlike other events... leave your checkbook at home! A Pint for Kim does not raise any money. We are only here to inspire people to donate blood and to spread awareness that the largest use of donated blood is used for cancer patients during treatments.
