Easter at the Rescue *Only one ticket needed per family *Masks are highly recommended! It’s the start of Spring and we have some new babies that just joined the rescue family! Bring the whole family out to Safe in Austin for our public day event Saturday afternoon! Get a chance to tour the property, meet the rescue dogs, hug on some turkeys, play with the chickens, snuggle with the rescue cats, hug on the cows, feed the goats, love on the horses, give a pig a belly rub, and of course meet our newest little rescue calf, Petunia! Discover friendship and love beyond what you can imagine!! You can hike up to the top of the property for a breath taking hill country view, take lots of pictures and support our mission of "saving lives, and healing hearts"! Come be a part of the fun! A suggested minimum $35 donation per family can be made to our Paypal account ( [email protected] ) Venmo (@safeinaustin) or we accept cash or check on event day. If you are unable to make the full donation, please contact us! ♥ Love doesn’t cost a thing and we can’t wait to meet you!! You are always welcome to also bring some fruits and veggies for our rescue animals! We count on produce donations to help feed our animals throughout the week. Carrots, apples, any kind of melon, or berries, spring mix or pretty much any greens are loved by almost everyone! Closed toe shoes are a must. No outside animals. Family waivers can be found on our website, or filled out when you get here. Safe in Austin rescues all species of animals from abuse, neglect, or who have special needs and then invites children who have the same stories to come out for friendship and healing along side the animals they relate to.
