Married senior citizen couple is in search of a responsible, dependable individual to provide for basic care needs a few hours a day, including a shower three times per week for a male senior. Must be able to safely help the 140 lb. male senior to and from bed, and to and from a wheelchair. Responsibilities include making beds daily, changing linens a few times per week, regular cleaning including dusting, vacuuming of carpets and floor cleaning, and general cleaning a two bedroom, two bath apartment. We provide all supplies and products that are needed. NO COOKING OR CLOTHES WASHING! All cooking and cleanup and clothes washing is performed by the married female senior. Depending upon the day – for the most part you arrange the scheduling of which days cleaning will be done – we think that 2 – 4 hours is necessary daily. This is an ideal opportunity for someone in search of additional income that can help for an hour before your day job and a few hours after your job, or for someone that has an hour available early in the morning and then a few hours later in the afternoon or early evening. You need not be a CNA or have a HHA certification. If you are a responsible, healthy, cleaning-living individual we think that with a little familiarization and coaching from us you will easily be able to accomplish that which is needed. You must have reliable transportation or a current PA drivers license and proof of auto insurance. If you do not have a current 2 step TB test, we will pay for the test. Following a successful trial period, we are looking to establish a mutually-respectful relationship with someone upon whom we may rely for more than a month or two. We pay every week – you choose your payday – after a week of work.
