The Noworking Space is a space where you can dedicate yourself to not working. As our society moves more and more towards a post-labor reality, not necessarily in terms of the complete reduction of labor, but through the separation of human worth and labor practice, humans must continue to evolve in their non working pursuits. We have traditionally called non working activities leisure activities, however our inclination is to turn leisure activities into almost work like processes i.e. sailing, golf, and “making culture”. True non working jettisons most ideas pivotal to work, including action, direction, purpose, and communication. Non working is a much larger scope of human activity, and one that is crucial to our well being. Noworking is also good for the environment; it eschews consumption and promotes a way forward outside of the endless churn of the consumption economy.
