Established band in the Sarasota area looking for lead singer in the Sarasota/Venice/North Port area able to handle everything from slow blues to Zeppelin. Experience, stage presence, preparation is imperative. No drama, no ego, no issues and no baggage please. Band chemistry is important and we need the right vibe and fit to continue moving forward. Rehearsals weekly or as needed in the North Port area for upcoming shows. If you play guitar or keys in addition to lead singing duties, all the more better. Age is semi important, rest of band members are north of 50 and come from regional and national music backgrounds. Must be able to do your homework and come to rehearsals fully prepared to run through new tunes a few times and have them down solid. Approximately 4-6 dates per month once things open up a bit more. Currently performing 1-3 dates per month in regular venue rotations. Bands we cover include Deep Purple (Highway Star, Hush), Zeppelin (Immigrant Song, Misty Mountain Hop, Bring it on Home), CCR (Fortunate Son), Skynyrd (I Know a Little, Simple Man), Aerosmith ( Same Old Song, Sweet Emotion), Peter Frampton (Do You Feel, Show Me the Way), Joe Walsh (Rocky Mountain Way, Funk 49), Gary Moore (Still Got the Blues, Walkin by Myself).....you get the idea. As I mentioned, we are a very established band in the area and are looking for the right person with the right voice, the right attitude, the right look and the right work ethic to continue our efforts in order to maintain our place in the area we’ve worked so hard for over the years.
