Join us for a celebration of 90 years of the Kansas City Rose Society and the Laura Conyers Smith Municipal Rose Garden. You are cordially invited to attend a celebration of the Kansas City Rose Society's 90th Anniversary! This will be an outdoor event at Starlight Theatre, a nationally accredited venue for safety related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our event has been designed specifically with your safety in mind and will be the first opportunity to reconnect with our organization after a year apart. We will gather in Starlight's Garden of the Stars courtyard and open air VIP Club where guests can socially distance, but properly socialize, while enjoying luxurious fare by Lon Lane Inspired Occasions. Food will be served in beautifully-crafted, individual packaging that can be enjoyed onsite or easily taken home at the end of the evening. During the first half of the event, Starlight's in-house horticulture team will provide exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours of how they prepare the countless native and tropical plants that fill their venue each year. The event will close with remarks from Kansas City Rose Society leadership to mark this milestone anniversary. Masks will be required. This is a members only event.
