Description
I have been out of Austin a few years, but will be in town April 14-18, and would like to arrange a session of the Austin Space Collective. This is a project I used to host at music lab, where I would get a few musicians together that had never played together before, we would do a 3 hour jam that I would record, and see what stuck to the wall of quality that could be released as an improv jam project. I am a guitar player looking for a drummer and bass player at the very least, I’d love a keys player and even better a modular synth artist. This is a single event, we meet, we jam, I record, and I’ll make sure you get access to the final product. I have my own personal album coming out on 4/20, and the website is below if you want a sample of the kind of music I play. My Instagram and Facebook links on the website have full version/videos of a couple of songs from the album. Think, Miles Davis doing Bitches Brew, phish, the dead, Hendrix and Pink Floyd all wrapped up into one. But really, as long as you got some chops and like to experiment and explore with very few constraints, and very little preparation, whatever musical style you bring to the table helps drive the finished product.
If your interested let me know, and we will work a 3 hour time slot when I’m in town. I’ll rent the room at music lab, you just gotta show up ready to make some music.
