Meet Max, an adorable and big ol tuxedo Tom cat who is looking for his forever home. He was dumped at a fire station and is a little bit shy and scared but warms up in quiet environments. I think he's been through a lot and needs a quiet home to call his own where he can be loved and become the sweet companion he wants to be. He will let you pet him (after he hides for a a few days, like most cats in new environments) and eventually will let you pick him up, when he has learned he can trust you. He has the funniest yet pathetic meow. It's like a siamese but he sounds sad. : ( He needs love. He's being fostered by a lovely family right now who saved him from being coyote meal, but bc the dog chases him, he's being kept in one room and he wants to come out and be a part of the family. I think no other cats would probably be best. Dogs ok but the dog must have a quiet and calm disposition. He does get freaked out when their young child is around. He is fixed and had his rabies shot and hes microchipped. He will need his other vaccinations though and there will be a small adoption fee of $65.
