Are you the parent of a healthy adolescent? If you have a female teen with no history of psychiatric illness between the ages of 14 – 18, she may qualify to participate in this research study. Your child can earn up to $299 and receive a picture of her brain. Researchers at McLean Hospital are investigating factors that make some teens better able to cope with stressful experiences and what makes some teens more vulnerable to experiencing depression. By participating, you and your child can help them better understand, prevent, and treat adolescent depression. Teens will answer questions about their thoughts and feelings.
