Entry fee is $10.00. A free T-Shirt will be provided to all pre-registered participants. Check-in at 8:30 a.m. and race starts at 9:00 a.m. Come out and join us for the annual (nearly famous) Ellaville Fun Run. Once known as the Ellaville Road Race, this annual run use to be a contested 5K event. In 1983 and 1984, Running in Georgia magazine named us the top race in Georgia. On 6 different occasions the race has been won by Olympians. John Tuttle won it four times, Craig Virgin once, and Marty Flynn of Ireland once. In 2003, the 5K was dropped and is now only a one mile run that is open for all to enjoy (hence fun run). It truly is a sight to see the nearly 400 kids, teens, and adults toe the starting line. After the race, the Ellaville-Schley County Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Springtime Ellaville Festival filled with various vendors, live-entertainment, and a car show. We would love for you to come out and join us. The entry fee is $10.00 and a free T-Shirt will be provided to all pre-registered participants.
