They’re back. The GMBC SPRING INTRODUCTORY RIDES will be happening on the first two Saturdays in May. The dates for each ride are May 1st and May 15th. All rides leave at 10 am from the Wheeler lot at Veterans Memorial Park on Dorset Street in South Burlington. Check-in is 15 minutes prior to ride departure. Introductory Rides for are for new riders or for the cyclists that want to brush up on their road riding skills. We will go 12-20 miles at a leisurely pace. Our goal is to teach new cyclists the rules of the road and how to ride in a group. Due to state mandates contact tracing is called for and pre-registration is required for either ride. To register for the date you want, go to www.thegmbc.com and click on the registration link. Helmets are required in addition to the pre-registration for either ride. Both the May 1st and May 15th rides are free and open to the general public. E-bike riders are welcome. Further information is available from ride leaders.
