Press release from the City Of Davis: March 25, 2021 1:20 pm Test your gaming prowess against teens in other Northern California cities in our new eSports League! Starting April 10, participants will compete in a five-week season and a final one-week tournament. Compete in Fortnite, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros across multiple gaming platforms. Competing cities will include: Lodi, Vacaville, Los Gatos, Patterson, South San Francisco, Ukiah, Clear Lake and Belmont. Let the games begin! • Fortnite 1v1: Saturdays (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) • Rocket League 1v1 (Casual Division – below GOLD in-game rank): Saturdays (5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) • Rocket League 1v1 (Competitive Division – GOLD or above in-game rank): Saturdays (5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) • Super Smash Bros: Saturdays (5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.); Nintendo Switch Online Subscription needed All matches will be held virtually. Participants will use their own console, video games and internet access.
