CLEVELAND — Appointments to receive first doses of the Pfizer vaccine at Wolstein Center will close after April 5. Between April 6 and April 26, the mass vaccination site will offer only second doses of the Pfizer vaccine, the Ohio Department of Health announced. From April 27 through May 10, patients can receive the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine but appointments for those vaccinations have not yet opened. Unbooked and canceled appointments will continue to open for booking on a rolling basis at gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov. Ohioans are encouraged to check back regularly for appointments, the state health department said. As of Thursday, more than 54,000 Ohioans have been vaccinated at the Wolstein Center. The state's other mass vaccination sites will begin opening Wednesday, though not all sites will open on the same date. Appointments for those clinics will open on a rolling basis.
