Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Saturday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The Northeast Health District added four deaths from COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths increased.The District added 72 new cases of COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.The seven-day rolling average of added cases in Oconee County dropped just slightly to 6.9 cases per day. That average increased in Clarke County to 13.1.North Oconee High School reported an additional positive test for COVID-19.Area Hospitals reported one fewer COVID-19 patients, but ICU bed and ventilator use remained unchanged.One year ago, when the first of these daily COVID-19 reports appeared on Oconee County Observations, Oconee County had only 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and Clarke had 32.For details and for state comparisons, please click through to Oconee County Observations.
