Mabel is a beautiful 10 month old Husky who wants her furever home. She has a great personality: she is friendly, active, playful, enjoys playing fetch and going on walks. She also likes having her tummy rubbed. Because Mabel gets along well with other dogs and has a lot of energy, she would do best in a home with a yard and another playful dog. During the day, you'll find Mabel outside playing with other dogs or hunting for lizards. In the evening, she goes on her 2-3 mile walk. When it's time for bed, she settles in nicely. Mabel gets along with adults and children, dogs, but not cats (she's too interested). She was exited from the shelter, where she was turned in by a Good Samaritan. Because we are a non-profit specializing in dog rescue, all our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated (two doses of DHPP, one dose of Bordatella), dewormed, microchipped, and given flea medication. Mabel is extremely smart, and still needs some training and socialization. Since she is treat-oriented and intelligent, training should be relatively easy.
