Vance Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash Sunday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Vance man was killed and a Tuscaloosa man injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle collision on Alabama Highway 216. ALEA Public Information Officer Senior Trooper Reginal King said the wreck occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. about four miles east of Tuscaloosa and identified the fatality as Jeffery Calvin Atchley, 50. Atchley was not using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene The driver of the Dodge was injured, King said, and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
