A Story Of Dining In Detroit Past Join Chef Kate Williams on the start of a journey of Detroit dining through times. Karl's becomes "Kate's" with four weekends of historically rooted dinners that will guide you through the evolution of culinary tradition in Detroit. Each weekend's five-course menu showcases a different and icnoic period of dining culture and we are kicking off in the year of 1853 with dishes like Johnny Cakes and Whipped Maple Butter and we wrap up in 1946 with the advent of Americana home-keeping tradition. Each evening, Chef Kate will feature a five course meal for $120 per guest with gratuity included. Additional curated beverage package may be added to your ticket for $30 or purchased the day of the event. There will be two seatings to choose from for a two-hour dining experience.
