Creative Interior Plantscapes is seeking part-time horticulturists to service accounts in Boston and the surrounding areas. We are looking for candidates with a love for plants who seek to provide great customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate needs have basic knowledge of plants, is good at multi-tasking, problems solving as well as working independently. You will travel to various client locations, check in with contacts, tend to all plants on site which includes watering, cleaning, pruning and fertilizing as required. Candidate must have good communication skills. You will need to communicate with clients, coworker and supervisor. You will need to determine and communicate the need for replacement of poorly acclimated plants. Qualifications: Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle. The candidate must also be organized, have the ability to work with minimal supervision and have excellent customer service skills. Physical Requirements: The ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry. Physical lifting will be required at times of landscape plants and related job material. You will spend at least 3/4 of the day walking/standing. You will regularly climb ladders and carry up to 50 pounds. You must be in good physical health. Preferred Experience/Skills: Gardening or horticultural work, which involves plant maintenance, botany, agriculture or horticulture; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience plus mileage reimbursement.
