Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 03/26/2021 210851892 Preliminary information:  On March 26, 2021 at around 7:04 PM, officers were dispatched to 2790 Alexandria Dr SW on a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located a female deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.  Preliminary investigation indicates there were shots fired in the area before officers arrived on scene and located the victim.  Homicide Investigators were notified and will be responding to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.    Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
