About me: I'm Zaid, an ambitious guitarist currently in several musical projects. I have been teaching myself guitar since I was 3-years-old, (I'm 20 now). Since I was in the 4th grade, I've periodically taken lessons from the great Dave Rude of "Tesla." His teachings have inspired me to give out lessons myself. Guitar is my passion, a passion I hope to share with up-and-coming guitar players. I'm also in the process of learning how to produce, mix, and master music. Lesson Description: I'm offering to teach your kids the fundamentals of playing guitar in a fun, engaging manner. I hope to show students their strengths and weaknesses on the instrument and to help hone their skills. I emphasize fingering, fretting, chords, and scales. However, I don't only teach theory. From my personal experience, I know that for beginners it's important that they have fun while learning their instrument. To add to the fun, I ask each student to give me songs that we both think are achievable for them to learn, then practice it section by section until we feel they can move on to a new one. Rate: $30 per hour Due to Coronavirus, I would prefer to teach over Zoom/Google Meet. That being said, I am vaccinated, so let me know if in-person lessons work better for your kids, and I'm sure we can figure something out. Rock on!
