ISO dog under 30lbs and good with cats

We lost our family dog in December. We're ready to welcome a new dog into our life. But actually trying to adopt a smaller dog at a shelter when you need to make an appointment 5 days later inevitably means the one we wanted is already gone. Prefer 15-35lbs, needs to be good with cats, teens, walking the neighborhood, walks at Highbanks and visiting the dog parks. We use Flint Animal Hospital & TAHO.
