Description
Jax is a 1 year old pit mix that my family adopted about 6 weeks ago. He's a very sweet boy that does not realize how big he is. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep him as he is too much for my kids. He likes kids but he's too rambunctious for my little ones and we fear they will get hurt. He may do better in a home with older children. He is a jumper, he jumps on you right when you walk in. We were working on this with him
We tried introducing him to a friend's dog, and we couldn't tell if he was overly excited or if he wanted to eat her, so we say he would do better as the only dog. We don't have cats, so we aren't sure if he likes them or not. He is housebroken and cage trained. He loves to just hang out in his cage during the day. He seems to have separation anxiety as he tends to follow us everywhere we go. He thinks he's a lap dog and will lay on you any time you allow it. He's approximately 60 lbs. He had his shots about 3 weeks ago, and he is neutered and microchipped. He will come to you with his cage, his blanket if you'd like, a dog bed, toys, food, and a ton of treats. If you want his harness and leash, you can have that as well. He would make a great addition to the right family. Small rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home.
