Seeking Versatile Bass Player for Original Rock Project

Guitarist/Vocalist and Drummer Duo seeking like minded bass player for original project. We practice 1-2 times per week in person with some remote correspondence as well during the pandemic. Looking for someone with a broad spectrum of musical influences centered somewhere around Rock/Hard Rock/Folk Rock/Alternative/Post Grunge/Acid Rock/Heavy Metal/Folk Metal, this is not a Speed/Thrash Metal project by any means but we appreciate roots in all areas. Looking for at least intermediate/moderate skill level and a basic understanding of music theory. Prior jamming, performing, or basic recording experience a plus. Phase 1 of the project is to finish building out about 10 original songs into a full band arrangement so we'd want the right person to be able to catch on to the existing vibe quickly and add some interesting bass work to make it their own. The goal is to get some good recordings down that we can all be proud of and eventually play a few local shows around the Providence area. May consider a second guitarist, keys, cello or something down the road but prefer to get tight with a bass player first. Current members are 30's/40's with good careers and families who've done a lot of jamming in various environments in prior years but decided to go the original route during the pandemic. No drama, BS, or grand illusions, just a fun focus on music and maybe a few beers towards the end of practice! Hit me up if this sounds like a potential project for you!
