Entry Level Environmental Technician - Local environmental contractor looking to hire hands on technicians. We are willing to train the right person. We will train the right applicants as needed to meet the necessary training. Applicants with a 40 hazwopper training certificate would be plus. The position requires being on call as needed. We are a 24/7 response company. The position requires working in the elements when necessary and at night. We require a clean MVR, the position requires being able to pass a back ground check, a pre employment drug screen (including Marijuana) and random drug screens. This is hands on, fulltime position with the opportunity to work overtime. Starting wage is between $19.00 and $21.00 depending on experience. We offer 2 weeks paid vacation, company paid medical insurance and holiday pay. The team also works a lot of prevailing wage projects weekly which require the employee be paid approximately $27.00 per hour on those projects.
