(NSP) is a national design/build firm specializing in the creative design of unique signage systems within the homebuilder and civic communities. Our Production & Field Technician focuses on the day-to-day production and installation of our core products (directional signage systems) and plays a critical role in the fulfillment of our targeted customer experience. By managing quality control in both production and installation, our PTs ensure all of our finished projects reflect the excellence associated with NSP. The PT will become familiar with an array of materials, tools and skills used by each division, which service our customers and manage our warehouses, tools and vehicles. This is accomplished through a detailed coordination of activities with the Division Manager (DM) and Operations Manager (OM), an understanding of the materials, substrates, techniques and tools used within the division; as well as a complete understanding of all of the company’s products and services. NSP provides our PTs with an ongoing education about equipment, software, materials and application/installation techniques, which will benefit their development within the role. The PT will work with the OM and Production Manager (PM) to establish a working knowledge of outside vendor relationships, as they relate to increasing the quality of all finished products. Furthermore, the PT will be educated about the Company’s vision, construction methods/materials, product workflow and safety standards, to effectively address all focus areas of the position. The Production & Field Technician role requires time in the field facilitating projects firsthand. Qualified applicants MUST meet the following requirements: A clean driving record A valid TX Driver’s license with proof of insurance. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Basic knowledge of power tools, construction skills, etc. Able to frequently lift 75+ lbs. Comfortable working from ladders (up to 20 ft) Willing to work outdoor field environment Comfortable with frequently digging holes NSP does offer a health coverage plan & 401K.
