Tulip is a 6 year old Purebred American Black lab. She is an American black lab, shes lean and has a small head. She is due for shots in may according to her previous owners. I do not have papers from their vet, they just dropped off the dog with me. I began training tulip as my anxiety service dog. She is not 100% finished but when you come see her it is clear she is VERY well trained and listens incredibly well. Tell her to sit and stay anywhere and she will not move. She heels perfect when asked. She sits and lays down when asked and knows the wait to eat comand very well. Tulip also knows shake with both paws! Im selling her because although she is very smart and is the perfect public access dog, she just loooooves people! She gets very excited with people and can get a bit floppy! Meaning she just wags her tail and butt around. I can get her to sit around a few people but in a store she just gets so happy to see everyone and all the other dogs! Tulip is a perfect family dog. Perfect with ALL animals. Ive had her around my familys cats, small dogs, rats, guinea pigs and even been around horses a few times. She is very good with small animals. She understand her size and knows she will hurt them if she steps on them and goes through great lengths to avoid hitting my girlfriends chihuahua in the yard when they play. She does good off leash, stays with you and knows her name perfectly. We use a face harness to walk her, she does pull with her collar but shes an angel eith her face harness, best thing the trainer showwed us! And tulip doesnt mind it at all, if shes excited to walk she even slips her nose through it herself. Im asking 550$ for Tulip shes such a good good dog and I love her very much. I would love a home for her with a family who would give me pictures of her every once and a while or let me know how she ajusts. Shes very good and when i got her she settled right in.
