We are currently seeking someone to join our team as a full-time Building Services / Maintenance Technician. Are you wanting to make a difference in people’s lives? As a Building Services Technician, you will enrich lives each day by ensuring that each of the resident’s homes, as well as the community’s grounds, are in good conditions and maintained following Touchmark standards. You will work with a team of skilled personal. You will need to be available to work weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will: • Assist in maintaining the buildings on our 100+ acre campus • Be knowledgeable about and promote environmental safety for yourself and others • Assist with snow removal of the walkways and driveways of the campus • Assist with changing out toilets, light fixtures and appliance installation • Have a general knowledge of plumbing and electrical • Be willing to work weekends and holidays as well as participate in the emergency on-call after hours rotation • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors • Perform repairs, parts runs, preventative maintenance Position Requirements • Be able to read, write and speak English • Willing to earn CPR/First Aid certification • Work in a drug free community • Be able to complete and follow Touchmark Vehicle Safety program • Be able to work both inside and outside year round • Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, moving equipment and furniture, and able to lift up to 75 pounds Benefits: Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
