Tremont residency is NOT required; the name is highly tentative. The vision is a non-ideological collective of local writers providing mutual advice and criticism on matters pertaining to style, form, syntax, grammar, and tone. Ideological perspectives are welcome but the collective is focused on the writing. TWC is not interested in saving the world or smiting evildoers, but if that is what you are interested in, TWC can help with the concomitant written polemics. All genres are welcome: all modes of fiction, non-fiction and everything in between. Collaboration will most likely be done through ZOOM or email correspondence, at least initially. Reading groups may convene, either to consider theory or fiction, but with the purpose of extracting value for our writing projects.
