Primary Duties: Clean showroom floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them. Gather and empty trash daily from office and break room. Service, clean, and supply restroom and break room daily. Follow procedures for the use of cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to furniture, floors, and fixtures. Move furniture, rugs, equipment and supplies. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Occasionally drive the truck for furniture delivery. Clean and maintain the outside areas of the showroom. Required Qualifications: Present a positive, tidy image. Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions. Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented. Reliable and predictable attendance. Be able to move furniture, equipment, and supplies. --must be able to lift large furnishings, carefully navigate merchandise of awkward shapes and sizes to and from warehouse/showroom/delivery trucks without injuring yourself or damaging the items. Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English Possession of a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles. Previous experience and knowledge of furniture delivery/moving work. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 per hour Schedule: You may occasionally be asked to come in early or stay late, but our hours of operation are from 10:00am-6:00pm, Monday thru Saturday. We never work on Sundays. Your hours will flex depending on when we need you, but will typically run from 10am-4pm.
