Description
Personally, I think if he expected The Apprentice to help his brand, it backfired. Who in their right mind would think that portraying anybody as a mean boss who takes pleasure in employees' failure is a good thing? A good boss doesn't give his staff assignments he knows they will flub and then turn around and fire them without remorse. A good boss supports and nurtures his people so they stay a long time and grow in their professional role. What he did on the show was entertaining, but it was a terrible prescription for behavior in the real world, especially in the exalted world of the White House. I can see why nobody will buy any of his properties unless the Trump name is removed.
