Busy flower shop looking full time time flower designer. We are searching for a green-thumbed Florist to work in our neighborhood store. The Florist's responsibilities include processing flower shipments, pruning the flowers at periodic intervals, and arranging marketable bouquets. You should also furnish clients with relevant flower-related information. To ensure success as a Florist, you should demonstrate accurate, updated knowledge about flowers' nutritional requirements. Invariably, a terrific Florist will craft robust packaging solutions to avoid preventable breakages. Experience minimum 1 year in any floral industry. Big plus Experience with most wire system like FTD, 1-800flowers and Teleflora. Qualifications: •Superior proficiency in traditional, tropical, and traditional floral design styles •Good interpersonal and customer service skills •Scientific and aesthetic knowledge of blooming plants, fresh foliage plants, and fresh flower varieties •Excellent team participant and manager •Expertise in garden revitalization •Strong abilities in profit margin management and price design •Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand and walk for extended periods of time Duty include, but not limited: •Introducing the customers with ready made designs •Arranging the bouquets by trimming, cutting and wrapping the flowers •Adding special features in the bouquets as instructed by the customer Florist Requirements: High school diploma. Demonstrable experience as a Florist. Knowledgeable about flower handling techniques. Ability to nourish, combine, and affix flowers and pertinent accessories. Approachable, patient, and forthcoming.
