Dairy operation is searching for a hands-on Manager to oversee approximately half of their dairy team. We are looking for someone who has a team first attitude as the dairy farm is managed with a team of managers. Must have excellent leadership and motivational skills who will keep employees and dairy successful and productive. Must be excellent at employee supervision, management, training, and scheduling. Must also have excellent herd health skills. Responsibilities will include assistance and supervision of employees whose duties are related to milking procedures, herd health, hospital treatments, transition/maternity area, feeding, hoof health, general equipment and dairy maintenance. We use Dairy Comp and Feed Watch. Familiarity with those systems is preferred but not required. The ability to speak Dairy Spanish is also preferred. 55 hours per week.
