Looking to adopt the right dog for our home

Hi All, We are looking to add another dog to our family. My current dog, Ksanti, is about 5 years old. She had a really hard situation with her first owner and then a lovely woman had her for a while, but did not know how to best help a dog like her. I’ve had her for some time now and we’ve made a lot of progress. We recently lost our other pup, thus why we are looking to adopt now. In light of Ksanti’s needs, I think the best fit would be: - Male - Not a puppy – at least 2 years old - Not a senior – someone she can play with - Calm and happy personality - Good social skills with other dogs - Moderate energy. We go on 1-2 mile walks or runs about 3 times a week, on other days, it is more like a ½ mile walk (a few blocks). - Ideally not too big – 20 to 30 pounds. - Personally, I really want to find a dog that is cuddly! If you know of suitable possibility, please forward some information! FYI – I think the best process for introductions might be for me to meet the dog first and then my sister and I visit a couple of times and go on walks with everyone. Then we can bring the new one home. So the situation needs to be one that will allow for at least a week, if not two, for introductions to be done. Thank you so much!
