Millie is a beautiful brindle girl who loves to play and have a good time! She likes to toss her toys around, and smuggle them into her kennel, making us laugh with her silly antics. She is also enjoying some time in a foster home, learning some house manners and loving the attention. Taking walks, playing ball and snuggling are some of her favorites activities, and she rides well in a car too. Our process: If you are interested in Millie or any of our adorable adoptables, please fill out an adoption application from our website. If we feel it's a good match, we can make plans for a meet and greet at one of our twice-monthly trips to Chesapeake, or you can schedule a visit at the shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS dogs are spayed/neutered, and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
