1. Description
Construct carpentry components based on design specifications.
Assemble carpentry components, based on design specifications and setup instructions supplied by design Department. (Carpentry components are mostly cabinets and vanities)
To use tools in a safe and correct manner to minimize both production and personal safety errors.
Efficiently communicate with other department supervisors as needed to facilitate timely execution of responsibilities.
Package components to minimize risk of damage during transport.
Label components to facilitate ease of assembly according to setup instruction.
Maintain clean and safe working environment.
Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.
2. Qualifications
Must be able to legally work in the US.
Must be dependable, self-motivated, and very organized.
Basic knowledge and use of hand tools and measurement devices.
Ability to read measuring tape – Imperial (to 1/16).
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Effective time management and prioritization.
Clearly understand written and verbal communication.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Must be able to follow instructions.
Team Player with can-do attitude.
Overtime will be required and expected during busy seasons to complete jobs.
3. Experience
Must have at least 1+ years of woodworking experience.
Reading Basic Blueprints: 1 year (required)
English and Spanish speaker
