Who's talking about taking my gigs...I'M RETIRED! But I can walk into just about anywhere and start playing and within a half hour have people walking up to me asking how much I would charge for a surprise 50th, or special occasion gathering and even event. I even got a gig for a wine tasting festival near Oregon. What? I don't compete with beginners and promoters, I don't need them...never have! I'm trying to help those who don't know how to help themselves by suggesting that their ability to play music is "worth" more than DOING NOTHING! When someone gets a vision of value it's then that they see the value and become motivated. Self discovery is the greatest motivator. Nothing plus nothing is still nothing, even in the 21st century, and that doesn't motivate ANYBODY, ANYWHERE, NO HOW!
