We are a well-established and successful Bellingham remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, and additions. We are currently seeking carpenters of all skill levels including experienced helpers, mid-levels, and leads to join our team. For the immediate, we are seeking to bring on long-term part-time carpenters. Full-time positions are definitely possible and depend on experience. We are looking for someone that is: - Punctual - Courteous - Professional - Accountable - Responsible - Safety oriented - A team player - Has a great attitude - Follows all safety rules and precautions Duties/Responsibilities for helpers include but not limited to: - Use of hand and power tools - Delivery/Pickup of materials - Dump runs - Demolition - Jobsite clean up - Must be able to lift 50lbs - Knowledge of all or most aspects of remodeling: framing, finish work, drywall, finishing is a plus. Duties/Responsibilities for mid-level to lead carpenters include all duties/responsibilities listed above plus: - Proficiency with hand and power tools. - Framing, siding, cabinet installation, painting, drywall, finish carpentry, and more. - Be able to assist or work solely on all types of remodels including kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and entire homes. - Be able to work as part of a team or independently on projects. - Have strong communication skills when working with clients and trade partners. All applicants must have their own transportation, a valid driver's license, and clean driving record. (Use of a company vehicle will be determined during the probationary period.) Interviewees will be subject to a background check including criminal history and driving history. Compensation depends on experience. Paid holidays.
