Handy person for 21 unit apartment building

Handy person needed to do multiple days of work including patching, painting, light carpentry, light electrical. The work can be done several days in a row or and can work with your schedule which can include work on weekends. After will hire for "on-call" work and pay by job an agreed upon amount that is fair for both of us depending on the work that needs to be done Most tenants have been in the building for many years and are flexible and easy to work with. There are 21 apartments so there is consistent work needed in repairs and sometimes getting apartments ready for rent. Building has power tools, ladders, painting supplies, etc. but prefer you have many of your own tools. Must have your own transportation and a plus if you have a truck or van to be able to get supplies. We have a pro-account with home depot which charges our account when supplies are needed Building is located in Logan Square and we prefer someone who lives close by. If over time we establish a good relationship there is the possibility to have you move into building for a discounted rent but it will still be for "on-call" work and not a part time position. If you are happy where you are living it is not required to plan to move in. In the spring we will be doing major building renovations including installing 25+ doors, renovations to our porches, and several other projects that you can be included in doing the work
