Position overview: The position of Electronic Assembly Technician reports to the Production Planning Coordinator and is responsible for performing the assembly, soldering, and testing of electronic devices at our facility in Marina, California. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Program PC boards -Hand soldering of electronic components -Assemble circuit boards and other electronic components into housing enclosures -Test and calibrate electronic devices -Maintain documentation for work orders and label printing -Welding sensors and tubing to create probes (automated welder) -Cutting and sanding pipes and probes Position Requirements: -Strong soldering skills -Competent at PC board testing utilizing PC board programming equipment -Proficient at operating a Windows based computer -Must be able to read electronics schematics and follow ESD safety practices -Strong interpersonal, organization and time management skills -Able to work independently and work well with others -Good writing, documentation, coordination, and analytical skills -Degree in science from an accredited university or 2 years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with ISO/ATEX/LVD standards for CE marked products Traits: -Ability to uphold Fox’s mission and vision. Other tasks: This position must be flexible with job duties and show willingness for cross-training in order help in other departments as needed.
