Raven Rookery Trail Loop Hike, Sturbridge, MA (approximately 5 miles) for Military, Veterans and their families This month we'll be heading to Sturbridge, MA to hike the Raven Rookery Trail Loop as part of the Military & Veteran Peer Activity Group sponsored by Easterseals Massachusetts. Friends and family members welcome. This is a 5.2 mile loop with a wide trail and mostly gradual inclines/declines. While we're intending this to be a leisurely family-friendly hike, feel free to bring a rucksack or other Hooah/Oorah/Hooyah/(whatever the Air Force says) item to challenge yourself appropriately if desired. We'll meet at the main entrance at 9:45 a.m. and step off at 10 a.m. Extra water and snacks will be available, but please bring what you feel that you need with you. If coming from Worcester, take I-84W to exit 5, take a right at the stop sign at the end of the ramp and turn left into the large parking lot (pictured below) after about 500 ft. COVID-19 measures are still in place. Please practice proper social distancing and personal precautions. Choose to participate based on your own comfort and ability level. While we will participate together as a group, and help each other accordingly, any participation in any physical activity is done at the participants own risk.
