Singer Songwriter Angela Easterling at First Backyard Show of 2021 "Angela is a bright and shining star on the horizon. Her gift is so special. Brought me back to the time when the Byrds recorded "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" - tradition meets youthful exuberance." Roger McGuinn, The Byrds Angela Easterling brandishes her songwriting chops with rootsy, refreshing, homespun tunes. Angela lives with her musical partner and their three young sons on the Greer, SC farm that has been in her family since 1791.Her album, “BlackTop Road”, produced by Will Kimbrough, was on the Americana top 40 airplay chart for 7 weeks. It was chosen as a top pick in both Oxford American and Country Weekly. She was selected for an official Americana Convention Showcase, official showcases at both NERFA and SERFA (Folk Alliance) and is also a four-time Kerrville New Folk Finalist, a Telluride Troubadour and a two-time Wildflower Performing Songwriter Top 10 Finalist. A few details: 1) We will be watching the weather the week prior to the show. Please stay tuned and be patient -- I will communicate if there is a delay, a cancellation or a postponement. I will refund any ticket that does not get used if we have to cancel or postpone. 2) We will social distance (6 feet apart) and spots will be marked. Please bring your own chairs and coolers, cups, beverage and snacks. We can't share like we normally do. PLEASE BRING AND WEAR A MASK when moving around the yard. We need to protect one another. 3) One bathroom will be available on the first floor. I will provide wipes and sanitizing materials. We will depend upon everyone to take care of everyone else by cleaning surfaces if you use the bathroom. Hand sanitzier will be widely available inside and outside. 3) We're requesting a $40 per person donation for this event because we've had to reduce our capacity in order to accomodate social distancing.
