Join Anacostia Riverkeeper and the DOEE staff from the Aquatic Resource Education Center for a family friendly fishing experience!!! Friday Night Fishing may be a season away but Anacostia Riverkeeper and the Aquatic Resource Education Center are teaming up to bring you the first public fishing event of the year. You may sign up for one of the three time slots, then just bring yourselves, wearing your masks. All fishing equipment will be provided. All ages are welcome, but minors should be accompanied by an adult. Every person fishing needs to have completed the form here: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/e/MXjttphw4uLQAU5JBsXXkN/ If you or a member of your household have any symptoms of COVID or have been in contact in with anyone exposed or suffering from COVID within two weeks of the event, stay home and join us later this year! Every person attending needs to be registered with us as we work to maintain social distancing and comply with the Mayor's guidance on outdoor gatherings.
